FEAT/RI believes that choice is meaningful only when it is fully and accurately informed.
FEAT/RI is dedicated to educating families and professionals about various autism treatments
and proividing critical and objective information.
About FEAT/RI
Formed in 1997,
Families for Effective Autism Treatment of Rhode Island (FEAT/RI) is a non-profit,
parent driven organization, staffed by volunteers and fully
funded through the generosity of caring supporters like you.
FEAT/RI is proud to have played a vital role in the founding and development of
Pathways Strategic Teaching Center for Children with Autism, a program of the Trudeau
Memorial Center, the first intensive, state-of-the-art, center based Applied Behavior analysis
educational program available in Warwick, Rhode Island.
In an effort to increase autism awareness, FEAT/RI has donated multiple copies of resource
materials, training manuals, books and videos, which can be accessed, free of charge though the
Rhode Island Public Library CLAN system, the Rhode Island CEDARR Family Centers, and the various
agencies in Rhode Island that provide intensive behavioral intervention services to families with
children with autism, such as Bradley Hospital, The Groden Center, Perspectives Corporation, and
Pathways Strategic Teaching Center for Children with Autism.
FEAT/RI is very proud to be able to offer our many supports and resources that are available to
members, as well as non-members of FEAT/RI.
